Print & Design

We can help with any and all print and digital design for products in the UWRL. We would recommend sending all materials to the Communications Team for design if possible. Professional design can raise your research to the next level. It is also important to make sure that you are presenting USU, UWRL, and research partner logos the correct way to avoid any legal issues. Please contact our team if you require assistance with any of the following:

Logos

USU Marketing recently rebranded the university last year, which means we now have revised logos for the UWRL. Approved logos and further instructions can be found on our UWRL Branding page. 

Logo Approvals

Logo use on any publication (print or digital) needs to be approved by USU Marketing before it can be printed or posted online. Our team is available to help with publication design. You are welcome to create your own materials as well, but please work with a Communications team member to get your publications approved, as logo rules can be a bit complex.

Digital templates for letterhead, powerpoints, etc. are available on our UWRL Branding Page. These do not need to be approved by USU Marketing. 

Photography and Videography 

Photography

Our team is available to take pictures of your students, research, and field work. We encourage you to take pictures wherever possible. 

Videography

We have several time-lapse cameras available to capture long-term projects, as well as typical equipment to capture video.

Editing

Our team is available to help edit papers, reports, and presentations. Please allow 2-3 days for editing if possible. 

Merchandise 

The Communications Team can work with USU Marketing and University PDP to help make UWRL branded merchandise such as T-shirts, bags, and hats. The UWRL will pay for the embroidery or screen printing for UWRL logos, while the promotional or clothing items will need to be purchased by your team. We are happy to help show you options for clothing and other merchandise through PDP or Pride Embroidery. 

If you would like the UWRL to fund additional team verbiage on merchandise, that will be decided on a case-by-case basis in regards to furthering the mission of the lab. Contact the Communications Team for more information.

Name Badges

The UWRL will provide a USU/UWRL branded name badge for anyone that would like one. Paper badges and lanyards are also available for temporary students or events. Please contact the Communications team to request a name badge.
