USU AggieAir Announces Partnership with Arctech Charge

November 9, 2020 — AggieAir at Utah State University and Arctech Charge, LLC of Draper, UT announce a new partnership surrounding the key technology of drone battery charging and battery life extension. Electric batteries are a key enabling technology for drone infrastructure, and finding new ways to charge and manage drone fleet batteries is crucial to any drone operation's feasibility and sustainability. Extending the life of battery systems also has environmental and economical benefits, which are important for long-term operations over wide areas such as package delivery, security, and environmental monitoring, as well as others.
