L. Douglas James Memorial Scholarship

Recipients of this scholarship shall be an undergraduate student in their junior or senior year in any degree program at USU and currently doing or planning to conduct research at the Utah Water Research Laboratory. Applications for this scholarship MUST include a letter of recommendation from the Director of the Utah Water Research Laboratory. To request the letter of recommendation, send the following to david.tarboton@usu.edu at least 4 days before the scholarship deadline:
- Your name
- Scholarship name – L. Douglas James Memorial Scholarship
- The name of the UWRL researcher with whom you will be working (visit https://uwrl.usu.edu/ to identify and contact researchers that you would like to work with)
- The general topic of the research you have planned
- A short (150 word maximum) description of the research you have planned

UWRL Community Scholarship

The UWRL community scholarship will benefit students working towards a degree at USU. The recipient shall be a current UWRL staff (research or administrative) employee or a family member of a UWRL faculty or staff employee.
