Expertise: Environmental Chemist. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of analytical instrumentation at the Environmental Quality Laboratory, UWRL (Inorganic chemistry section). Instrumentation  includes Dionex Ion Chromatograph,  Agilent 7500 ICP-MS, Agilent 7500 LC-ICP-MS, Discrete Analyzer AQ+2 for the analysis of nutrients and Perkin Elmer Flame-GFAA-Mercury/Hydride Spectrometer. Responsible for the preparation of samples in various matrices including water, sediments, plant and animal tissues for metal and nutrients analyses. Additional responsibilities include method development and SOP upgrades, training of students, and assistance with field work such as collection of water samples and maintenance and calibration of water quality sensors (Hydrolab)
