Dr. Jeff Horsburgh receives NSF CAREER Award Grant
UWRL faculty member Dr. Jeff Horsburgh recently a CAREER Award Grant from the National Science Foundation Environmental Sustainability program (CBET/ENG/NSF) for his project titled: “CAREER: Cyberinfrastructure for Intelligent Water Supply (CIWS): Shrinking Big Data for Sustainable Urban Water.”
CAREER grants are offered as part of the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program. NSF awards this prestigious grant to support the early career-development activities of teacher-scholars who most effectively integrate research and education within the context of the mission of their organization. The award is intended to build a firm foundation for a lifetime of integrated contributions to research and education. Congratulations to Dr. Horsburgh for this honor!
